THE BEST THANK YOU GIFT EVER!

Awww! Marcy is SO super sweet!

Last week I helped her write a paper for English (because I know a thing or two about writing, since I do it 24/7 in my diary!!)

She was really stressing out because she’s had a TON of homework lately, and she’s felt super overwhelmed by it all.

She was like, “I REALLY owe you, Nikki! How can I ever repay you for this??”

And I responded, “Don’t sweat it. That’s what friends are for!”

I figured that was the end of it. Then on Saturday morning, when I was eating Fruit Loops, the doorbell rang.

I thought it was going to be Mrs. Wallabanger returning this foot fungus cream my mom had lent her. (Adults have the WIERDEST ailments!) But it was Marcy dressed up like Katy Perry!

At first I pinched myself because I thought maybe I’d only DREAMED about getting up and seeing all of this.

But then she started singing and I realized it was real…and it was a singing telegram!

In case you’ve never heard of a singing telegram, it’s when someone in a costume shows up at your house and sings a message.

And it’s SUPER fun and awesome!!

Marcy started singing Roar, but with the lyrics changed to this:

A couple of our neighbors were poking their heads outside their doors, and I have to admit it was JUST a little embarrassing. But hey, it was totally creative and thoughtful!

Brianna sang that song all day, and I couldn’t get it out of my head either!
